TUC: Britain needs a pay rise national march

October 18, 2014 @ 11:05 am - 5:00 pm

The TUC is calling a national demonstration on October the 18th in Central London, and we want to send a message loud and clear to employers and politicians across the board that Britain needs a pay rise. That’s what a real recovery looks like.

We want you to be there but we don’t just want you to come,  we want you to bring your friends, your families, your neighbours and your workmates,  so that we make this a big and brilliant demonstration.

The march starts on Embankment, with form up from 11am.

We suggest joining from the rear at Blackfriars to avoid a crush further up Embankment. After moving off, the march will go along Embankment to Northumberland Avenue, across Trafalgar Square, along Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus, and then along Piccadilly to Hyde Park Corner, where it will enter the park. The rally in Hyde Park will start as the march reaches the stage.

There will be a short march route for those who don’t want to follow the whole route. See the accessibility page for more information on this and other access information.
