An open air drop in session was held on Tuesday the 1st of July at Turner Avenue, South Tottenham. Turner Avenue is made up of 83 flats, all of which may be demolished – the council have begun consulting the residents on their ‘options’.

Nine residents dropped by and spoke with us, others passed by to pick up some literature. Council tenants, lease holders, private tenants and landlords all joined the meeting and are speaking out against demolitions.

Haringey Defend Council Housing are supporting and help organising residents across Tottenham who are arguing for improvements not demolitions.
