Camden Green Party meeting

The next meeting of Camden Green party will be on Monday 24 October at 7pm at Crossroads Women’s Centre, Wolsey Mews, NW5 2DX, just behind Kentish Town Road.

The meeting will be addressed by Rebecca Johnson the newly selected parliamentary candidate for Hampstead and Kilburn. This is an opportunity for you to meet her and ask any questions you may have.

Islington: Nuclear disarmament and trident

Dr Rebecca Johnson FRSA, director of the Acronym Institute for Disarmament Diplomacy and Vice President of CND, speaking on ‘How international initiatives to ban nuclear weapons will help Britain scrap Trident and save £100 billion’.

Dr Johnson will give the latest information about UN nuclear weapons developments, multilateral nuclear ban strategies, and the innovative intergovernmental meetings on the humanitarian consequences of nuclear weapons held this year. Dr Johnson has also just recently been selected to stand as the prospective parliamentary candidate for the Green Party in the nearby Hampstead and Kilburn constituency for the general election.
