We are a group of non-aligned revolutionary activists committed to building a New Left. A Left that is broad, inclusive, and democratic.

We’re hosting our first open activist meeting to discuss how the ideas and ethos that have driven Brick Lane Debates can be put into action – and we want you to come along and help shape it.

The world system faces long-term crisis. Unchecked global warming, climate change, financial meltdown, militarisation, and war. The gap between rich and poor, both within and between nations, has become a chasm. Democracy has been hollowed out. Everything is done for profit.

Millions of people hate this set-up. Millions want a world based on democracy, equality, and caring for humanity and our planet. We must capture the spirit of revolt and turn it into a mass movement for change.

We need a strong network of activists that is open to everyone who wants to fight for change and project a positive vision for the alternative; is run democratically; and active on every issue – war, poverty, oppression, climate catastrophe and all the other injustices that drive us.
