A fundraiser for the Peter Tatchell Foundation

You are invited this Sunday:

We hope you can join Peter Tatchell & the PTF team for our second bicycle ride fundraiser – Ride Out for Human Rights – this Sunday 14 September, starting at 11am, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9ND.

The bike ride is around 8 miles long.

“We’re meeting at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in Tavistock Square, to remember a great icon of the struggle for freedom and equality,” said Peter Tatchell, Director of the Peter Tatchell Foundation.

“We then cycle to Highbury Fields – the site of a plaque commemorating the first gay rights protest in Britain, which was against police harassment and took place in 1970.”

Our ride ends with a picnic in Regents Park (please bring your own food and drink).

The bike ride is not timed. You can ride as fast or as slow as you wish.

The Ride Out for Human Rights is a fundraiser for the Peter Tatchell Foundation. The registration fee is only £20. You can pay in advance or on the day.

If you would like to raise more for the PTF, why not get sponsored by your friends? Try for a sponsorship of £50 if you can.
