A wonderful assortment of public speakers, poets, singers, rappers, musicians, dancers, dramatists and other assorted magical cabaret artists inspire and rouse up an audience of alternative postmodern revelers, travelers, hippies, anarchists and squatters to join in the fun.
A public project commissioned by AIR, which highlights an important history of alternative housing, resistance and organisation in the Caledonian area of Islington. The project will happen in four stages over a three month period. Starting with a walk, with talks and performances by former Caledonian squatters, artists and activists; a series of screen-printed banners; an artist residency in the local library; and a publication and final event in November.
