Squatting the Cally walk
A public project commissioned by AIR, which highlights an important history of alternative housing, resistance and organisation in the Caledonian area of Islington. The project will happen in four stages over a three month period. Starting with a walk, with talks and performances by former Caledonian squatters, artists and activists; a series of screen-printed banners; an artist residency in the local library; and a publication and final event in November.

Contributors include local residents Diana Shelley and Maggie Mcdonald, and artists Anna Chrystal Stephens and Hadiru Mahdi.
