Lolitics is my political comedy club at the Black Heart in Camden, London, where we smash the Tories with punchlines! It’s dedicated to cool lefty comedy with a radical edge.
It’s not like most comedy clubs! I get political comics down to try brand new material, and I get comics who don’t normally do political comedy to come and give it a go, in front of what might be the loveliest audience of any gig in London.

I compere it and hand-pick my favourite acts on the circuit to join me. And it’s just £3!
Unlike other comedy clubs, it’s not a horrible aggressive macho bearpit. Hecking is banned, the acts aren’t allowed to pick on the audience, and we actively fight against misogyny, homophobia, and racism that’s running through comedy. If you’re put off of going to live comedy because you see a lot of nastiness, give my club a try. Hopefully you’ll like it! (I’ve put the full rules here, if you’d like to read more about it!)
We get loads of great comics down. Regulars include Mark Thomas, Josie Long, Bridget Christie, Andy Zaltzman, Rob Newman, Kate Smurthwaite, Robin Ince, and so many more.
